All deadlines are based on India Standard Time (IST, GMT+5:30).
Participants are responsible for submitting their projects before the stated submission deadline. Late submissions may not be considered.
Eligibility
InfinityX Global Hackathon 2K26 is open to participants from around the world.
Participants may include:
- Students
- Developers
- Designers
- Entrepreneurs
- Researchers
- Technology enthusiasts
- Innovators and creators
Participants may compete individually or as part of a team of up to 4 members.
Participants must provide accurate information during registration and submission.
Employees, organizers, judges, and individuals directly involved in administering InfinityX Global Hackathon 2K26 may not participate as competitors.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation complies with the laws and regulations applicable to them.
By participating, you agree to follow the official hackathon rules and Devpost's Terms of Service.
Project and Submission Requirements
Participants must build an innovative technology solution that addresses a real-world problem or creates meaningful value.
Projects may use any technology, framework, programming language, API, platform, or development tool.
Projects should demonstrate meaningful development and technical implementation during the hackathon period.
Each submission must include:
- Project name and tagline
- Problem statement
- Solution description
- Key features
- Technology stack
- Source code repository (GitHub/GitLab or equivalent)
- Working demo or prototype, where applicable
- Demo video
- Project screenshots
- Team member information
The source code repository should be accessible to the judges for evaluation.
Participants may use third-party libraries, APIs, open-source technologies, and development tools, provided that their use complies with the applicable licenses and terms.
AI-assisted development tools are permitted. Participants remain responsible for the originality, legality, functionality, and content of their submissions.
Projects must not contain malicious code, illegal content, plagiarized work, or material that violates the intellectual property rights of others.
Submissions must be complete and accessible to the judges before the submission deadline. Inaccessible or incomplete submissions may be disqualified or receive reduced consideration.

All eligible participants who successfully submit a valid hackathon project will receive an official InfinityX Global Hackathon 2K26 Participation Certificate from Innovation Hacks.

Top 3 teams will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through a 2-month online global internship with Innovation Hacks.
Judging Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:
Innovation & Creativity — 25%
How original, creative, and innovative is the solution?
Technical Implementation — 25%
How effectively has the team implemented the proposed solution?
Real-World Impact — 20%
How effectively does the project address a meaningful real-world problem?
User Experience & Design — 15%
How usable, intuitive, accessible, and well-designed is the solution?
Scalability & Feasibility — 10%
Does the solution have realistic potential for adoption, growth, or further development?
Presentation & Demo — 5%
How clearly and effectively does the team communicate and demonstrate the project?
Total — 100%
Winner Selection
Judges will independently evaluate eligible submissions using the criteria above. The highest-performing projects will be considered for the Grand Winner, Runner-Up positions, and Special Recognition Awards.
Judges may request clarification or additional information about a submission when necessary.
In the event of a tie, the judging panel may consider technical implementation, innovation, and real-world impact as tie-breaking factors.
The judges' decisions are final, subject to the official hackathon rules.
Projects that violate the hackathon rules, contain plagiarized work, submit fraudulent information, or otherwise fail to meet the submission requirements may be disqualified.
